Tequila Bar, Gerani, Chania
Sometimes you just want to chill out under the stars with your favourite cold drink and relax as you listen to some great music, and this fantastic little bar offers you just that.
Set back from the main road between Gerani and Maleme, Tequila Bar is a hidden gem that once experienced is never forgotten. The laid back style and easy decor is just great for an evening with friends when all you want to do is relax and enjoy a night out with no hassles or worries. The speakers gently pump out some great 80's and 90's hits, think 'The Eagles' and 'Eric Clapton' rather than Coolio or Dr Dre, and do not get in the way of the conversation like some other bars where you have to shout above a thumping bass line.
The soft lighting only accentuates the feeling of the place and Tequila Bar does a great range of cocktails and other drinks to keep that mellow feeling going all night.
It is only open in the evenings so if you rock up before 9pm you may be a little disappointed, but wait around a little, grab a bite to eat in Arhontiko in Gerani perhaps before you turn up here and you will not go away without a smile on your face and in high spirits.
The service is friendly and the guys and girls at Tequila Bar could not do enough to ensure your visit is full of smiles and laughs.
