Tavronitis is a traditional year round town with a smattering of apartments that line the pebbley beachfront. It can be busy with locals and holidaymakers alike who are sitting side by side and enjoying a glass of wine or a beer as they watch the world pass by at the busy crossroads in the center.

Close by there is a micro-brewery that produces the excellent Charma beer and also a winery where you can have a tour and taste the wonderful wines of Karavitakis that is fast becoming one of the outstanding wineries of Greece.
