Review: The Black Lantern, Maleme

The Black Lantern, Maleme

In early 2017 the Black Lantern moved to a new location in Maleme and Graeme and Ewelina, the owners, have put a lot of hard work into the new location and the facilities and the views cannot be faulted. The food however hasn't changed, it's as good as it ever was and even the hungriest of customers will not go home hungry.

We can vouch for most of the meals having eaten there regularly for many years and the Sunday lunch is especially recommended (although cauliflower cheese wouldn't go amiss). Tonight we had liver and bacon and a prawn and chilli linguine. We could not fault either meal. When we asked for extra chilli on the linguine it was delivered to perfection.

The liver and bacon also never fails to satisy a hungry eater. At the end of the meal we were asked if we wanted fresh fruit or something sweeter and of course, provided with raki.

Also remember to check out the specials board for something a little extra than the large menu has to offer.

What is not to like?
